PR MEHQ is a white, flaked solid. Effulgence-MEHQ is only slightly soluble in water but has excellent solubility in organic solvents. The aromatic ring can undergo numerous reactions (alkylation, halogenation, and substitutions) without loss of the methyl ether group. Unlike most phenolic inhibitors, small concentrations of PR MEHQ are colorless in the presence of alkaline emulsions.
Storage Conditions
PR MEHQ should be avoided to sunlight. Avoid knock, fire, insolation and rain. Kept in dry and ventilating place, far away from heat and fire.
The product is stable for 2 year if stored in original, sealed containers under above-mentioned conditions.
